Our mission is to serve as advocates for our members in the Lebanese construction, industrial, and agricultural equipment industry, effectively representing their interests amidst local and global competition. Additionally, we are committed to promoting the interests of our nation, contributing to its economic development and prosperity. We aim to become the prominent voice of the sector, providing exceptional value to our members, exerting positive influence on government policies, and actively contributing to the long-term sustainability, innovation, and expansion of the sector.

Code of Ethics and Values

Integrity and Professionalism

All members involved shall uphold the highest standards of integrity, honesty, and professionalism. They shall act in the best interests of the association, and community maintaining a commitment to transparency, fairness, and ethical conduct throughout the import process.

Compliance with Laws and Regulations

Members shall comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and customs procedures related to the importation . They shall stay updated on any changes in regulations and ensure full adherence to all legal requirements governing imports.

Conflict of Interest

Members shall avoid any situation that may create, or even appear to create, a conflict of interest between their personal or business interests and the interests of the association. They shall promptly disclose any potential conflicts of interest to the association’s governing body and take appropriate steps to mitigate or resolve them.

Fair Competition

Members shall promote fair competition and avoid engaging in any anti-competitive practices or unethical behavior that may undermine the integrity of the importation process. They shall not engage in collusion, price fixing, bid rigging, or any other activities that restrict fair and open competition.

Confidentiality and Data Protection

Members shall handle and protect all data and documentation shared during the association meetings with Confidentiality .

Environmental Responsibility

Members shall be mindful of environmental impact and promote sustainable practices .

Respect for Human Rights and Labor Standards

Members shall uphold and respect fundamental human rights, labor standards, and principles of gender equality and inclusiveness. This includes ensuring fair treatment, attracting, training and retaining of workers, without discrimination based on gender, prohibiting forced or child labor, promoting workplace safety for all individuals, and complying with labor laws.

Social Responsibility

Members shall contribute positively to the communities in which the association operates. They shall strive to create social value, support local initiatives, and actively engage in corporate social responsibility activities that benefit society at large.

Enforcement and Consequences

Violations of this code of ethics may result in disciplinary actions as defined in the association’s bylaws, which may include warnings, temporary suspension, or expulsion from the association, depending on the severity and frequency of the violation.
